Creating a Web Form

Web Forms allow you to place a module layout in your website. With Web Forms, you can submit data into the eAppTrack application directly from your website. When the form is filled out a new record will be created.

    To create a Web Form:

  1. Click on the wrench.

  2. Click on Modules.

  3. Click on Form Manager.

  4. Select the module you want the web form to populate.

  5. Select "New Layout" or "Clone Layout" if you want the web form to have the same look as your primary layout.

  6. Enter the name of the layout. Then click "Save Form Layout".

  7. Click the check box for Web Form. Here you can also put in an email address to receive a notification when the form is submitted. There is also a field to put a web address to redirect to after the form is filled out. Once you have your web form set up the way you like, click "Save Form Layout".

  8. After you save the web form you can click "Get HTML Code" to get the html code to upload to your website. You have to save the form before the HTML will generate.
